Street Café now in their sixteenth year, have always been acknowledged for
superb vocals and unrivalled musical production. Lisa Stewart, female
vocalist and saxophonist for Street Café, is known for her outstanding vocal
ability.
Her consistency in live performance and ability to entertain a wide variety
of audiences has set standards and gained her respect from the industry and
audiences alike.
Combined with a magnetic personality, Lisa gives this band a leading edge.
Alan Laguda, keyboard player and musical director for Street Café with the
aid of "state of the art" computer technology
is the musical drive force. His highly skilled musical production and
programming knowledge has gained recognition Australasia wide. Superb
musical production spearheaded by exceptional vocals and harmonies make up
Street Café.
Street Café originally a Melbourne based band have been entertaining in
Melbourne's top clubs and venues.
Several have been resident for over 12 months. E.g. Mitzi's in Brighton,
Stepps Nite Club Melbourne, Joey's bar Sth Yarra, other regular venues
include Fawkner Club Sth Yarra, Planet Hollywood at Crown Casino, the
Racquet Club Albert Park, Silvers in Toorak, Bennigans, Oscars,
Rembrandts, The Anglers, and Lazars just to name a few.
Interstate performances include N.S.W. League clubs along the Murray,
Lasseters Casino Alice Springs, extensive
work in Perth Clubs, Burswood Casino and several engagements on the Spirit
of Tasmania.

For the past few years Street Café have been residing on the Queensland
South East Coast and entertaining at the
Live Wire Bar at Brisbane Treasury Casino, The Atrium Bar at Jupiter's Gold
Coast Casino, Twin Towns, Seagulls, Margarita's on the Water, Tipplers at
South Stradbroke Island and most clubs from the Tweed to the Sunshine Coast.
Many Corporate Functions at the Royal Pines Resort including The Female Golf
Masters, AXA Function 2003,
The Make A Wish Foundation and for the Queensland and Gold Coast Tourist
Bureaus.
CORPORATE
They have recently completed 2 weeks in the corporate lounge at the
Australian Tennis Open 2004 at the Melbourne Tennis centre as well as two
days at the Australian Grand Prix 2005 and at the Gold Coast Indy 300 in October
2004.

INTERNATIONAL
International Venues include a 3-month contract at The Green Night Club
located in Xin Hua Lu, the heart of the Entertainment Center in Shanghai
China.
IN 2002 a 3-month contract in the Laguna Bar and Coca Cabana Club at The
Oasis Beach Hotel in Dubai UAE.
The summer of 2003-04 Street Cafe' completed very successful 3 month
contracts at the Sani Beach Resort in
Halkidiki Greece.
The success behind Street Café is a large repertoire covering 60s through
to 2000s as well as many classics and a personal selection of Smooth Jazz,
Swing, Jive and Rock 'n' Roll.
A consistent update of current hits and dance songs, allows Street Cafe' to
successfully entertain 18 to 35 year olds
as well as the 35 and over.
